OC crap
Is it possible for a non-citizen to receive a jury duty notice???
I am not a citizen, I have never registered to vote. I received a jury duty notice the other day. Is that possible? Am I missing something?

I think if you've gotten a ticket, they put you on jury duty. But you have the easy way out. Check the "I'm not a citizen, loser" box.
I got a jury duty summons two months ago for a trial in July and I wrote them a letter that I won't be in the county for a year. They sent me a postponement and said I would receive a new summons this October. Idiots!

My dad got a jury duty summons for me while I was in France, fall 2004. I finally opened it when I got home in summer 2005. I called them and asked them what the deal was, since I was supposed to report in the fall. They're answer was something along the lines of, "Whatever." I'd love to be on a jury. Usually when I'm in OC these days, I spend most of my time doing nothing. So sign me up! FRY AND HANG BEEYATCH!
